AVBP is used in many laboratories by hundreds of engineers and researchers worldwide for both fundamental and applied studies. It is also the main LES design tool for several European companies. It is used in five ERC advanced and synergy grants in Europe.
AVBP has lead to the largest amount of journal papers in the field of numerical combustion and has become the world reference for LES/DNS codes dedicated to reacting flows.
